Euro 2012:
Women's rights group plans 'sex sabotage'

What happened with my
country during the last 2 or 3 months in the preparation of the Euro 2012 was
really terrible because now, in Kiev For example we have more brothels, strip
clubs than pharmacies. UEFA and Michel Platini
and the Ukraine government organizing such big football championships, here in
Ukraine in the country where women are really beautiful but at the same time poor
and not well educated it is really easy for them to earn money with sex
industry.
This is a respectable
hotel and it is Hello Kiev, it has maps in there and bus terminal, airport a
bit of a phrase book, recommended places to go, recommended places to eat and
then at the back it has all these adverts for escorts and adult services and
strip, I guess, well I guess brothels actually.
Is that what these are?
Yes, really you can understand
that by looking at the naked women that are trying to attract you, you know you
can do whatever you want in this country during this period.
So what should the government
have done about this, should they have clamped down on the sex industry?
In Ukraine we have a law
that says that prostitution is not legal but at the same time you see big advertisement
in the magazines, everywhere. People, the
Ukraine government and UEFA are trying to do a huge propaganda of sex industry
of sex tourism here.
Your protest, in which
you bare your breasts in public and you take your clothes off, why do you do
that?
We understood that today
nobody is ready to listen to women but everyone wants to look at them and we created
a new opinion of nudity. A new opinion of women nakedness, how we look now, you
know yes of course we are trying to attract people, to attract them using our
nudity, but to attract them not to our body but to our idea, to our message and
it is working.
Is it working is there a
danger that they will just look at your bodies?
It is working because now
you are asking me many questions about our message and our idea not about my
breasts. Yes it is working and we are
seeing many results, and you know it is a kind of small revolution that we did
during the last two years, we changed opinion about women, we changed, we
created a new icon of women she is not slave now, as all women in Ukraine, she
is a fighter, she is still naked, but she is a fighter and she is angry. And for the first time, nudity of women is
not controlled by men as in sex industry, in the fashion industry during our
protest we are controlling our nudity by ourselves.
Reclaimed it?
We get back, we take
back our nudity into women’s hands, this is the message this is the idea, this
is our strategy why we do that.
What do you have planned
then for the Euros? Any protests?
We are going to attack
many matches, we are planning sex attacks, sex diversions, sex sabotage during all meetings, all official meetings,
football matches all activities somehow connected to Euro 2012.
